ONE DAY TO TEE-OFF FOR THE CLARIDEN LEU SINGAPORE MASTERS 2007!

As the excitement builds for the start of the Clariden Leu Singapore Masters 2007, the 204 professional golfers have completed their practice rounds at Laguna National and are ready to go!

The second pro-am saw Welsh professional Philip Price and amateurs Raja Ashman Shah and Raja Jamil Mohamed take the top spot with a score of 14-under par. All players and guests enjoyed glorious conditions on the Masters Course and everyone is looking forward to four great days of play.

The media were joined this afternoon by 2005 Champion Nick Dougherty; Johnnie Walker Classic winner Anton Haig; and top Asian golfers Frankie Minoza and Thongchai Jaidee. They gave their thoughts on the tournament and were all in very positive mind-sets for the challenge ahead.

Play begins on both the Classic Course and the Masters Course at 7.40am tomorrow. Mardan Mamat is out to defend his title but there are many others who are hoping this year will be their time to win in Singapore!

The Emirates Youth Programme will be held tomorrow and continue on Friday. Thursday's session will be led by Lee Westwood. Friday's programme will be with Darren Clarke.
